Halifax County Motor Speedway Presents The 2nd Annual Joe Huss Memorial June 30th - July 1st

Halifax County Motor Speedway will return to racing Friday June 30th and Saturday July 1st as the Speedway will present the 2nd Annual Joe Huss Memorial headlined by the I-95 Late Model Challenge Series paying $5,000 to win along with racing in Mid East 602 Crate Late Model, Mid East Street Stock, Stock V8, Super Stock 4 Cylinder, and Pure Stock 4 Cylinder.

On Friday June 30th the race program will include the I-95 Late Model Challenge Series (Practice / Qualifying), Stock V8 ($2,500) (Practice / Qualifying / Heats / Feature), Super Stock 4 Cylinder (Practice / Qualifying / Feature), Open Practice For I-95 Late Model Challenge Series, Mid East 602 Crate Late Model, and Mid East Street Stock. Pit gates will open at 3:00 PM. Grandstand gates will open at 5:00 PM. Drivers meeting is set for 6:00 PM with on track action to follow.

Halifax County Motor Speedway will return to racing Saturday April 29th as the Speedway will present the return of the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series paying $5,000 to win along with $500 to start. This will be the first time since the tracks new ownership that the Carolina Clash Tour has made an appearance to the Speedway. The last time the Carolina Clash Tour was at the track was in 2014. The KMSA will also be in action paying $1,500 to win.

April 29th race program will include the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series ($5,000), KMSA Super Stock 4 Cylinder ($1,500), Limited Sportsman, Stock V8, and Pure Stock 4 Cylinder. Pit gates will open at 2:30 PM. Grandstand gates will open at 4:30 PM. Drivers meeting is set for 5:30 PM with on track action to follow. 602 Crate Late Model March 17th Make Up Feature Rescheduled For March 18th

Attention all 602 Crate Late Model competitors your make up feature from Friday March 17th will be added to the Saturday March 18th race program at Halifax County Motor Speedway.

Halifax County Motor Speedway To Host 2nd Annual Mark Batten Memorial March 17-18, 2023

Halifax County Motor Speedway will open its 2023 race season on Friday March 17th and on Saturday March 18th as the Speedway will host the "2nd Annual Mark Batten Memorial" event. Two days of racing action is scheduled for the annual event headlined by the Steel Block Bandits Dirt Late Model Challenge Series paying $10,000 to win.

The "2nd Annual Mark Batten Memorial" will include racing in the Steel Block Bandits Dirt Late Model Challenge Series ($10,000), the Modified Mafia Tour ($2,500), 602 Crate Late Model ($1,500), Limited Sportsman ($1,200), Super Street ($1,000), and Stock V8 ($750).

Friday March 17th race program will include full programs for 602 Crate Late Model, Super Street, and Stock V8 divisions. The Speedway will have multiple practice sessions throughout the night for Steel Block Bandits Dirt Late Model Challenge Series, Modified Mafia Tour, and Limited Sportsman competitors. Pit gates will open at 2:00 PM. Grandstand gates will open at 5:00 PM. Drivers meeting is set for 5:30 PM with on track action to follow.

Saturday March 18th race program will include full programs for the Steel Block Bandits Dirt Late Model Challenge Series, the Modified Mafia Tour, and Limited Sportsman. The Speedway will also be having a non-qualifiers race for Steel Block Bandits Dirt Late Model Challenge Series competitors not transferring into the feature paying $500 to win. Halifax County Motor Speedway will be having a open practice on Thursday March 16th for all divisions. Gates will open at 5:30 PM with practice from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. $15 Per Person / $20 Per Car. Grandstands will not be open.

Halifax County Motor Speedway To Participate In Roanoke Rapids Christmas Parade

Halifax County Motor Speedway will participate in the annual Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina Christmas Parade held on December 4, 2022. The parade will be held on Roanoke Avenue located in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina 27870. The parade is set to begin at 2:00 PM.

Halifax County Motor Speedway is excited to announce that the Mid-East 602 Late Models And Mid-East Street Stocks will be joining us on July 1, 2023. This will be the first time the Mid-East Street Stocks have made their way to HCMS and the second time for the 602 Late Models over the last four seasons.

The track is honored that the Batten Family has chosen HCMS to put on this race at our track for a second year.
