Halifax County Motor Speedway Presents The 2nd Annual Joe Huss Memorial June 30th - July 1st

Halifax County Motor Speedway will return to racing Friday June 30th and Saturday July 1st as the Speedway will present the 2nd Annual Joe Huss Memorial headlined by the I-95 Late Model Challenge Series paying $5,000 to win along with racing in Mid East 602 Crate Late Model, Mid East Street Stock, Stock V8, Super Stock 4 Cylinder, and Pure Stock 4 Cylinder.

On Friday June 30th the race program will include the I-95 Late Model Challenge Series (Practice / Qualifying), Stock V8 ($2,500) (Practice / Qualifying / Heats / Feature), Super Stock 4 Cylinder (Practice / Qualifying / Feature), Open Practice For I-95 Late Model Challenge Series, Mid East 602 Crate Late Model, and Mid East Street Stock. Pit gates will open at 3:00 PM. Grandstand gates will open at 5:00 PM. Drivers meeting is set for 6:00 PM with on track action to follow.

Halifax County Motor Speedway will return to racing Saturday April 29th as the Speedway will present the return of the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series paying $5,000 to win along with $500 to start. This will be the first time since the tracks new ownership that the Carolina Clash Tour has made an appearance to the Speedway. The last time the Carolina Clash Tour was at the track was in 2014. The KMSA will also be in action paying $1,500 to win.

April 29th race program will include the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series ($5,000), KMSA Super Stock 4 Cylinder ($1,500), Limited Sportsman, Stock V8, and Pure Stock 4 Cylinder. Pit gates will open at 2:30 PM. Grandstand gates will open at 4:30 PM. Drivers meeting is set for 5:30 PM with on track action to follow. 602 Crate Late Model March 17th Make Up Feature Rescheduled For March 18th

Attention all 602 Crate Late Model competitors your make up feature from Friday March 17th will be added to the Saturday March 18th race program at Halifax County Motor Speedway.

Halifax County Motor Speedway To Host 2nd Annual Mark Batten Memorial March 17-18, 2023

Halifax County Motor Speedway will open its 2023 race season on Friday March 17th and on Saturday March 18th as the Speedway will host the "2nd Annual Mark Batten Memorial" event. Two days of racing action is scheduled for the annual event headlined by the Steel Block Bandits Dirt Late Model Challenge Series paying $10,000 to win.

The "2nd Annual Mark Batten Memorial" will include racing in the Steel Block Bandits Dirt Late Model Challenge Series ($10,000), the Modified Mafia Tour ($2,500), 602 Crate Late Model ($1,500), Limited Sportsman ($1,200), Super Street ($1,000), and Stock V8 ($750).

Friday March 17th race program will include full programs for 602 Crate Late Model, Super Street, and Stock V8 divisions. The Speedway will have multiple practice sessions throughout the night for Steel Block Bandits Dirt Late Model Challenge Series, Modified Mafia Tour, and Limited Sportsman competitors. Pit gates will open at 2:00 PM. Grandstand gates will open at 5:00 PM. Drivers meeting is set for 5:30 PM with on track action to follow.

Saturday March 18th race program will include full programs for the Steel Block Bandits Dirt Late Model Challenge Series, the Modified Mafia Tour, and Limited Sportsman. The Speedway will also be having a non-qualifiers race for Steel Block Bandits Dirt Late Model Challenge Series competitors not transferring into the feature paying $500 to win. Halifax County Motor Speedway will participate in the annual Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina Christmas Parade held on December 4, 2022. Halifax County Motor Speedway is excited to announce that the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series will make their way to the Speedway on April 29, 2023 for first time since the tracks new ownership. The event will be paying $5,000 to win along with $500 to start. The last time the Series was at the track was in 2014. Halifax County Motor Speedway 2022 Race Season Awards Ceremony January 7th

Halifax County Motor Speedway will be having its 2022 race season awards ceremony on January 7, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the American Legion Building located at 717 American Legion Rd in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina (27870). Haggerty's Steakhouse of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina (A sponsor of Halifax County Motor Speedway) will be catering the event. The track will be honoring the top five in the final 2022 point standings in the following divisions: Late Model, 602 Crate Late Model, Open Wheel Modified, Pure Stock V8, Super Stock 4 Cylinder, Pure Stock 4 Cylinder, Sport Compact FWD, and Bomber.

Tickets will go on sale November 1, 2022. The deadline to purchase tickets will be January 2, 2023. Tickets are $25 per person.

Halifax County Motor Speedway will return to racing Friday May 20th as the Speedway will present a 602 Crate Late Model special paying $2,000 to win ($250 To Start) along with racing in Limited Sportsman ($1,000), Pure Stock V8 ($750), Super Stock 4 Cylinder ($700), Pure Stock 4 Cylinder ($500), and Bomber ($350). 602 Crate Late Model competitors will follow Mid-East 602 Crate Late Model rules. Limited Sportsman competitors will follow Punisher Super Street rules. Pit gates will open at 4:00 PM. Grandstand gates will open at 6:00 PM. Drivers meeting is set for 6:30 PM with on track action to follow. Construction Unlimited has put up a extra $250 to the fastest qualifier in the 602 Crate Late Model division.

Ed Daugherty Construction has added $200 to 1st place winner for Super Stock 4 Cylinder. That brings the total to $900 to win in SS4.

Halifax County Motor Speedway Presents The "Mark Batten Memorial" March 18th And 19th

Halifax County Motor Speedway will open its 2022 race season on Friday March 18th and on Saturday March 19th as the Speedway will present the annual "Mark Batten Memorial" event headlined by the Steel Block Bandits Dirt Late Model Challenge Series paying $10,000 to win.

The weekend events will include racing in the Steel Block Bandits Dirt Late Model Challenge Series ($10,000 | 61 Laps), Open Wheel Modified ($3,000 | 30 Laps), the Punisher Super Street Series ($1,000 | 30 Laps), Pure Stock V8 ($750 | 25 Laps), Mod Lites ($400 | 20 Laps), and Legends ($600 | 20 Laps).

Friday March 18th race program will include full programs for Pure Stock V8, Mod Lites, and Legends. Steel Block Bandits Dirt Late Model Challenge Series, Open Wheel Modified, and Punisher Super Street Series competitors will have several rounds of open practice throughout the night. Pit gates will open at 2:00 PM. Grandstand gates will open at 5:00 PM. Drivers meeting is set for 5:30 PM with on track action to follow.

Saturday March 19th race program will include full programs for the Steel Block Bandits Dirt Late Model Challenge Series, Open Wheel Modified, and the Punisher Super Street Series. HCMS will also be having a 15 lap Non-Qualifiers race for Steel Block Bandits Dirt Late Model Challenge Series competitors paying $500 to the winner. Pit gates will open at 1:00 PM. A few event highlights for 2022 include:

The I-95 Late Model Challenge Series will be traveling to Halifax County Motor Speedway four times in the 2022 race season which are scheduled for July 2nd, August 13th, September 2nd, and September 10th.

The Blue Ridge Outlaw Late Models Series will be traveling to Halifax County Motor Speedway two times in the 2022 race season which are scheduled for April 23rd for a $3,000 shootout and August 20th for a $2,000 to win event. The Speedway is excited to welcome the Blue Ridge Tour to HCMS.

The Punisher Super Street Series will be traveling to Halifax County Motor Speedway six times in the 2022 race season which are scheduled for March 18 & 19th, April 30th, July 2nd, July 30th, September 24th, and October 22nd.

The Renegades of Dirt Modified Tour will be making their first appearance to Halifax County Motor Speedway on May 14th for a $1,000 to win event.

Halifax County Motor Speedway 2021 Race Season Awards Banquet

Halifax County Motor Speedway will be hosting its 3rd annual awards banquet for the 2021 race season on January 15, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The top five positions in the points from each class for 2021 will be honored. The banquet will be held at Wells Mechanical Services located at 24488 Hwy 561 in Enfield, North Carolina (27823). Haggertys Steakhouse out of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina will be catering the event. Tickets are $25 for each person and will be available for purchase starting November 29th. Halifax County Motor Speedway will return to racing Saturday July 31st as the Speedway will present the The United CC Modified Series with the Mod Lites paying $2,500 to win along with racing in Late Model, Limited Sportsman, Pure Stock V8, Super Stock 4 Cylinder, and Pure Stock 4 Cylinder. The Mod Lites event will require a $125 entry fee. Pit gates will open at 3:00 PM. Grandstand gates will open at 5:00 PM. Drivers meeting is set for 6:00 PM with on track action to follow. Halifax County Motor Speedway will be having a open practice on Friday July 30th for all divisions. Gates will open at 5:00 PM with practice from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. $10 Per Person / $20 Per Car. Main grandstands along with ages 5 and under will be free.

Halifax County Motor Speedway will return to racing Saturday July 17th as the Speedway will present a $1,300 to win Limited Sportsman event along with a $750 to win event for the Pure Stock V8 division. July 17th race program will include Limited Sportsman ($1,300), Pure Stock V8 ($750), Super Stock 4 Cylinder, Pure Stock 4 Cylinder, and Bomber.
