Halifax County Motor Speedway Returns To Racing Saturday August 3rd

Halifax County Motor Speedway will return to racing Saturday August 3rd. August 3rd race program will include the Carolina Sprint Tour ($1,500), Limited Sportsman, Street Stock, Stock V8, Mod Lites ($500), and Legends ($500). Pit gates will open at 3:00 PM. Grandstand gates will open at 5:00 PM. Drivers meeting is set for 6:00 PM with on track action to follow. Halifax County Motor Speedway would like to thank everyone for their continued support and we hope to see everyone at the "Red Clay Bullring" Halifax County Motor Speedway Saturday August 3rd.

Halifax County Motor Speedway July 20th Event Cancelled

Due to the current weather forecast and rain at the Speedway the remainder of the July 20th event scheduled at Halifax County Motor Speedway has been cancelled. The Speedway would like to thank everyone who came out to show your support. Tickets and armbands can be used at our next scheduled event on August 3rd. Tickets and armbands must be present.

Halifax County Motor Speedway July 20th Event Update

Officials of the Mid-East Racing Association along with officials at Halifax County Motor Speedway have postponed the events for the Mid-East Racing Association portion of the July 20th event at the Speedway due to weather and travel concerns. Halifax County Motor Speedway is currently still on schedule to race its local divisions for Saturday July 20th which will include Street Stock, Limited Sportsman, Stock V8, and the first ever appearance of the Bell & Bell Modifieds.

Street Stock Competitors: There will be no entry fee for the Street Stock division on July 20th. 12 cars or more entered the event will pay $1,000 win. 11 cars and under entered the event will pay $600 to win.

Pit gates will open at 3:00 PM. Grandstand gates will open at 5:00 PM. Drivers meeting is set for 6:00 PM with on track action to follow.
